I'm sorry if this thread has been recently tossed around, but I am new
to this group. I am trying to collect information on real time conversion
from speech to text to text or some sort of phonetic characters. Possibly
something which may assist the deaf in videoconferencing or provide some
sort of a transcript of a conversation. Any suggestions as to where I
should look or current research in this area?

Thanks in advance,

Brad Smith
