I'd love to compile the program on a DOS PC. There seem to be a couple
of things in my way, at first sight:

phonemes.h: That one is included into gen.c, though wasn't in the posted
	    file
sklatt: Is this a program that comes with the Sun OS? You said somewhere in
	    the orig posting that it's a skim version of klatt (of which
	    the source was included).

If I could get the synthesizer to produce .au files on my PC I'd be almost
completely content!
