I'm a grad student who has a muscular disorder and arthritis. It is a big
help to me when I can tape conversations and lectures, especially
seminars where several people are talking. What I want to do is to
take the audio tape and find a way to dump it into a text file. Nobody
here knows how to do that, at least I haven't found anybody in the
campus computing office for students with disabilities.
They say the problem is that a voice recognition system could be set up
for me alone, but when I get several voices in there taking turns it would
be very difficult. When I go to transcribe the tape, it is very time
consuming. Any help or advice about ways to work this one out would be
warmly received. Please respond to c264299@mizzou1.missouri.edu.
