Only to people who knows ESPS package for signal processing:

I think ESPS is the most hard, unhelpful & aukward thing of the world.
Is there versions later than ESPS 4.0a / Waves+ 2.0?

My problem is the following:
I need to read a FEA_SD file, to do something with its header,
to allocate memory for the sampled data, and to play it.
The question is:
How can I know (properly) how many records are there in the data field
of the file in order to allocate the exact amount of memory?
I need desperately any function or something to do that!!!
Perhaps nobody knows the answer, but if you knows it, please
e-mail me to: canas@casip.ugr.es
I'm desperate!

Thanks a lot for your help!
