National Semiconductor makes some nice active filter IC's. The one I've
used is the AF151 (I think thats right, its been about 12 years). I made
some very nice audio low pass filters with these for A-D converters and
was very pleased w/ results. The linear data book has good application
notes for this chip. As I recal, it had 6 op-amps, and precision resistors
in the monolith. 4 of the amps were for use as filter buiding blocks with
the internal precision resistors, the other two were availible as buffers,
or to provide additional gain.

The only downside to the device was its sensitivity to static electricity,
I ruined a couple with careless handling. I would imagine the current
device has protection now.
