I need a stepper motor that I can mount with the shaft facing upward
to drive a 1 to 2 lb balanced load around in a circle. I need to be
able to get 7200 steps/revolution without a lot of backlash. The speed
will be slower than 1 revolution in 10 seconds, but I need repeatable
accuracy in the postition of each step because this will be for a simple
motion control system. However, I can drive in a single direction to
minimize the effects of backlash.

I have very limited data on gear drive stepper so any suggesitons for
manufacturers I can check with would be appreciated.
