Peter Stuer (peterst@arti.vub.ac.be) bantered:

: could someone help me locate phone-, fax- or wathever number to get in
: contact with the company that produces the sewer robots mentioned in US
: wired 3.04 page 44. The name of the company is Umwelt Technik Systems and
: they are alledgedly located in Austria. International directory enquiries
: can't seem to locate them.
: Coordinates for any other pipe-crawling robots would be appreciated as well.

Check with the petroleum folks. They probably use something similar for
maintenance of their piping. Water and natural gas outfits, likely also.
There are a *bunch* of trade magazines for each, and the tech library at ASU
(and likely your local university) have the last year's worth on display.
I don't know any names offhand, as I've never worked in the field(s).
