<someone> is looking for a 7/8" dia. actuator for a model torpedo.

Hi;

        I've built a few gear reductions for mini-robots from spare
parts:
        1 pager "shaker" motor
        1 stove timer

This gives:

        1.125" diameter
        0.375" depth overall
        0.750" depth at pager motor (additional)
        3600:1 gear reduction

        Alas this gives no feedback, and is just too big for your spec.

But looking at these parts, you _might_ be able to use fewer stages of
reduction, and trim off unused stuff to fit in 7/8" I.D.

If this appeals to you, let me know and we can trade for the parts.

Also, I have heard of another in Toronto who has built these model
torpedos, but don't even have a name. I believe he was milling his own
gears and using pager motors.

Cheers,

Richard.
