I believe you're referring to the one built by the McReady Bunch of
man-powered flight fame. There was a good article on the project in Model
Aviation a few years ago. I can produce the month and year if there is
interest. The project resulted in what I believe was the first R/C electric
ornithopter.

It was produced for the Smithsonian for a I-max film called "Flight".
