Actually, the BEAM games are designed so that almost anyone can enter 
if they have a self contained, home-brew 'bot.  It's a multi-competitor
genetic algorithm where robot genetic stock is improved through stratified
survival oriented competition.  

Like Tierra, with smoke.

But I also endorse RARS.  Competitions are the punctuated evolutional steps 
towards independant machines, so please support the robobiology in your area.

And with luck we'll have videos of our show by Alife V.
