Yes, I have received a couple of requests for kits. I and a friend
are presently pricing components from different distributors. Our first
tally for the components alone has come to about $160. This does not
include the cost of the boards themselves. I presently am waiting for about
a dozen catalogs from various distributors and will hopefully be able to
offer kits for less than this.

Any one interested in a MIT 6.270 board kit may still contact me.
Please specify what you would like the kit to entail. For example, if you
have a dozen MC68HC11A0 chips on stock please specify that you don't need
the chip. If you require a printed manual, document replication costs
would have to be added to the cost of the kit. I will post a follow up
article itemizing what the kit may entail and hopefully the estimated cost
of each component.

Any one interested in purchasing a MIT 6.270 kit may still contact
me at:

I will however reserve the right to not distribute kits if the
demand is not high enough, or requests for kits come in after all kit
components have been sold.

I am also willing to push back my order date of 3-3-95 to about
3-8-95 to allow people enough time to respond.

Notice the new and improved disclaimer below. :)

Disclaimer:

This is an entirely nonprofit venture. I nor anyone associated
with myself am trying to make a mentionable profit off this venture.
The goal here is, by providing people with a quantity price for these
kits, I too would benefit from the lower cost kits.
