Todd: I KNOW that the idea of people buying them off you and making you
"rich" is an enticing dream, but 1) it's been done, it's not at all new,
BUT 2) is something people on this net have been wanting for all sorts of
things, on here and on places like comp.robotics and other sorts of real
world I/O intensive groups, like the home automation group and such. AND
you have a real opportunity here to become the honcho on the net who puts
out this schematic and software source available on a Public Domain basis!!
There are a lot of people who want premade boards EVEN IF YOU HAND THEM THE
SCHEMATIC AND SOURCE CODE, and will pay you well, just because they would
like a professional job or do not feel all that hardware competent putting
an "IV" into their own computer to control real world devices with
sufficiently well documented opto-isolation for those who believe they
really need it! You will also attract FUTURE TRUST and LOYALTY for doing it
PD, which many famous people got their big start doing because they had the
sense to defer gratification and settle for a loyal following until it
grew big enough that they were a household name in some households! And
money always follows that kind of a name, LIKE GLUE!! The people who have
done well have published lots of PD projects and source code before they
made it selling lots of stuff, like Steve Ciarcia, and others. Catch the
groundswell of gratitude and trust! It can take you a very long way!!!
And anyway, if you don't do it, I think I may do it in a few months! THEN
where will you be with an expensive ad in a magazine AND me GIVING it away
on the net!???
