     Recent postings have been asking for sources for various
things such as low-cost TV cameras, fibre-optic links, and
stepping-motor drivers. I just received a catalog from
Marlin P. Jones & Assoc. Inc (407-848-8236, fax 407-844-8764),
and their latest surplus catalog has such items.

     The board-level TV cameras start at $119.95; these are
B/W, analog out units.

     The fibre optic link kit for audio is $34.95, and the stepping
motor driver kit (including stepping motor) is $29.95. I recommend
the stepping motor kit for those who ask how to drive a stepping motor;
after you assemble the kit, you'll know.

     M.P. Jones has a good selection of little kits, about fifty in all.
These are a good do-it-yourself education in basic electronics.

     They also have the Basic Stamp boards ($39.00 each) and the
development kit ($138.00, includes board, manuals, PC-based editor,
cable, etc.).

     Big selection of power supplies, especially open-frame and
wall transformer types.

     I have no connection with this outfit, other than I've ordered
stuff from them.
