And "free will" and "determinism" can coexist quite comfortably, thank you.
Just like constructivist mathematicians don't lose sleep over the
existence of intuitionist mathematicians.

Within the scope of our wiring we can act pretty freely, be 
responsible, choose good over evil; but clearly our wiring limits us.

Luckily our robot progeny will be far less limited in how they can
be wired and change their own wiring once inspired.
