Hello

My name is Ishay Kamon, from the Technion, Israel.
I got your name from Per Klool, whom I met in a workshop this summer.

I am looking for a reliable range sensor for a mobile robot,
that have a wide coverage angle. I have in mind a rotating
time-of-flight laser, but I will be happy to hear about other
possibilities. I am interested in particular in the following points:

Does the sensor perform both vertical and horizontal scans ?
What is the cycle time ?
Does it have an interface to PC ?
What is the accuracy ? and the price ?

I will appreciate any details concerning commercially available
sensors.

thank you in advance
Ishay Kamon
