With these two comments, you should go over to comp.lang.forth and get the
FAQ. Go to an ftp site and get one of many Forths out there and try it.

I am sure after playing around with one you will get the idea.

Like Macs, forth is not a language its a religion.

( by this I mean the only way anyone can get to realy know Forth (or Macs)
is to dive in whole hog. If you are mildy interested in Forth you may
never get to use it for anything.)

ps: I have been embedded programming for 10 years.
pps: Yes, I've tried many Forths and I still keep track of the latest
version on the net. ( you never know, I might get it :-) )
