Nice, for once, to get a balanced comparison of OS's without any of the 
"Team OS2" hysteria! I am a great believer in NT - I think it is one of
the most exciting developments in general purpose operating systems for
many years, but I do think that, in this case, you probably need an
environment more specifically built for real-time, safety critical
applications. I haven't looked at QNX for several years, but it was good
then, so I would hope that it is even better now.
