All Amiga's from the 500 and up have built in speech synthesis,
and for about $80 you can get a sound digitizer for recording your
own voice for playback...

(One little catch with the newer Amiga's (1200/4000), I think they
 left out the speech driver software (narrator.device), but you can 
 get it from any other Amiga that has it...)
