Has anyone out there had any experience with the Dayton 2L011 motors sold
by W. Grainger distributors? They were suggested by Karl Lunt in a recent
issue of Nuts & Volts magazine. The specs are:

Model: Dayton 2L011
Cost: $22.19 ea.
Volts: 12-vdc
Current: 1.1-amp at stall
Torque: 10-inch-pounds
Rotation: 50-rpm
Weight: 1.1-pounds

These seem like pretty strong little motors. I'm looking for as much
torque as I can get, and 50-rpm is about the right speed (for my new 'bot
design). The weight and current draw are reasonable. And you can't beat
Grainger for distribution.

Does anyone have any experience with this motor? Is Karl Lunt listening?
Does anyone else have a favorite motor with similar specs and a similar
(or better :-) price?

The motor must be reversible by reversing the current.

I'll post a summary if there is enough interest.

Thanks!

Clint
