Hummmmmmm... me and my friend did try a modem hook up, but even at 28.8k, IT
SUX to put it mildly. :)

Presently, my friend has a link between his office on the ground floor and
his apartment on the 28th, he had no problems with the landlord, but the
cables are installed _inside_ the building. But our goal was to hook all of
our computers up to be able to network and video conference anytime... now,
i fink the best way is a microwave/rf modem combo... not sure yet... ham
radio... i'll see all the options available to me first before doing
anything... just to be on the safe side. :)
