      Those are no longer permitted.  They blither over the VHF spectrum
too much.  The Radio Shack VCR Rabbit type devices, which are in a different
band, are now the low-end solution of choice.

      The maker of the "TV Genie" did six months in the pen for selling
several hundred thousand unapproved transmitters for the UHF band.  The
FCC is really down on bad TV-band transmitters, because they generate
so many complaints.
