      After a few phone calls, and talking to Marshall of Marshall Electronics,
it comes out that the real product is a $995 evaluation board.  The
individual parts aren't available yet, and they aren't really set up
to take orders for them.  It's not even clear they're in volume
production on this part.  They're probably waiting for a big order
before running off any more.  

      This is a classic problem with new and exotic parts.   The major
vendors usually run off enough to fill the distributor pipeline and see
if a market develops.  The little guys can't afford to do that.
