Try figure 23 on page 7-65 of the 1989 Signetics Linear Data Manual
Vol 2: Industrial.  The figure is from the 555 app note and is titled
"servo system controller".  Signetics  makes 555s and the old NE544 which
was one of the original integrated servo control chips.  This manual is
a great tutorial for RC servos.  It has the NE544 data sheets as well as
NE5044 seven channel RC encoder and NE5045 decoder.  App notes on all of
the parts and even one on robotics.
