I was thinking of using a Newton for controlling a robot. It is light
(ish), fully programmable, and runs for 20 odd hours. It has pcmcia type II
and RS232 serial ports. What would be the best/easiest/cheapest way of
getting signals out of the box to control servos, receive sensor data, etc?

I am not an Electronics expert (though I can usually put mny hand to
anything), so forgive the navity of the question.
