not too long ago i decided to try to take apart an old remote controlled
car and use the remote control and motors in the car to try to build a
little robotic device. i never got around to doing since school was just
starting up, but now i've started reading this group and hearing about the
basic stamp(or what-ever it's called) and am starting to get very intereasted.
could someone point me to a faq and pass along some 1-800 #'s where i can
get some catalogs and stuff, or better yet, tell me how time comsuming and
money consuming this new intereast will be and how i will most likely spend
all my time messing with it, thereby skipping school until i die as a lowly
pizza delivery boy(with a trunkful of expensive toys). :)

thanks much...
