Yes, being a pilot I know what a coordinated turn is. A rotary encoder is a
pot-like thing, except it has several digital outputs which present a
binary number or else it has an interrupter pair presnting a quadrature
signal. They are commonly discussed on this group. And if you look
at the original question I answered, you could see why I didn't know if
this sensor would be useful, but they asked for a gravitational sensor.
Being a fan of Einstein, I presumed they knew about gravity and elevators
and vectors so as to know what they were asking!! Silly me!
