Geez, indeed.  I have no problem paying Parallax.  My idea was to get
the program to load BASIC into a more advanced PIC chip, such as the
PIC16C84 (on-board EEPROM) or PIC16C74 (on-board A/D).  I would also
be happy if Parallax were to sell VAR chips like this with BASIC already
burned in.

BTW, kudos to Cisco for plowing into the SOHO market with their line of
cheap routers.  Maybe I'll be able to afford one at home someday!
