There are enough people that work enough that 100 posts a week is too 
much reading.  These people could be vital to some discussions.  Just 
because you have the time and inclination to read comp.robotics each and 
every day doesn't mean everyone can.  Furthmore, splitting sub groups is 
supposed to stimulate more conversation.  People will speak up if the 
conversation concerns more of what they do.

I disagree and this goes back to reading multiple groups if what you are 
doing is effected by both.
