I remember that the author that did the article on building the
Basic Stamp clone for Nuts and Volts Magazine also did an article on
building a small ultrasonic unit that could communicate serially with
the Stamp.  I think it was supposed to be in July or August edition, but
since I do not subscribe, I can't really say for sure.
