Jeff, I am an electrical engineer for Marathon Oil in Findlay, OH. My
current job is systems integration (Motorola MVME167 and PCs). My job
is more as a systems analyst: acting as mediator between end users,
programmers and technicians. I do know PCs fairly thoroughly. P.S. I
co-authored an article on field busses for the August 93 issue of
Personal Eng'g and recently wrote a sidebar on field busses for
Control Magazine. I graduated from Valparaiso University (NW Indiana)
in 1986 with a 3.3 and membership in Tau Beta Pi. I also graduated
from University of Toledo's College of Law 2 years ago with a 3.4 and
passed the Ohio Bar in the upper 98%. Unfortunately, I've relied in
vain on Marathon's assurances that they would find an internal legal
position for me. I have done some tax work for Marathon in Texas.
I'm originally from Sacramento and would love to return to the western
U.S. I'd be interested in anything that could utilize my education
and experience in eng'g and law. Am I at all marketable?
