This is probably a stupid question but I have been unable to find an answer
in any books.

I have 5 1.2 volt NiCad batteries hooked in series on a small robot and I
would like to recharge them without removing them from the robot. What I
would like to know is what does a battery recharging circuit look like? Can
I just attach my power supply, set it at slightly higher than 6V, and leave
it overnight to charge them, or is something more complex needed?

Thank you.
