I got about 15-25 feet line-of-sight out of a pair of them I bought a
while back, though that was in a fairly RF-noisy environment (lotsa
homemade computers with no class-anything FCC registration).  However,
that was barely to the other side of the room, so I tossed them out.

Caveat Emptor, and all that...
