I'm looking for sources of electronic compasses and gyros.

From Dave Caswell (depthtec@cerf.net), I've gotten:
> The largest supplier of fluxgate compass hardware in the US is
>KVH Industries, Inc. of Rhode Island (tel 401-847-3327). They make
>everything from fully independent units to 'compass engines' for inclusion
>in third party devices. I've used their stuff and like it.
>Other contenders are DigiCourse Inc. in Houston (713-784-4292) and misc.
>GPS suppliers who compute heading from 3-antenna phase measurements.
>
> As for gyros, talk to Sperry Marine Inc, who do marine (and aero?)
>gyro compasses. I don't have their national phone number but where I'm
>at (San Diego), I call them at 619-427-7920.

More suppliers information would be appreciated.

I will continue to post summaries.
