I haven't bought/ordered anything from Active recently, but last I
knew, they were supplying the L293D as an SGS-Thompson part. Their
catalogues are *TREMENDOUSLY* disorganised, and it may take some
looking to find it. Don't go on the sales lackey's word either, as my
experience with Active is that they're just a step or two above Radio
Shack, especially as far as technical smarts go.
