Hello all,
  I am a Computer Engeneering student at the University of Central Florida.
I am about to begin my 'Senior Design' class where we spend the semester
proposing, designing, building, testing and presenting our senior project.

  However, at this point my group and I are running thin on new ideas to
base a project on, SO I thought I might ask for some suggestions on the net!

  I am interested in robotics, but have not had much experience in the area.
I am considering an embedded system (HC6811 controlled), where I can assembly
the mechanical pieces easily (kit type components) and apply programming
and digital control theory for the meat of the project. YET have it be
simple enough to not over extend our ability to finish in time.
(We will be graded based on how we set goals and achieve the goals we set)

  Some previous projects:
     * toy electric car which would follow the beam from a flashlight
     * computer controlled guitar tuner
     * computer controlled X-Y position table
     * Programmable IR remote control

  Well I've wasted enough space and time, but if anyone has any neat
ideas for little technical gizmos and doesn't mind sharing them with
me, Please Email me!

Thanks for your time and hopefully ideas!
