Wasn't that "Short Circuit" and of course "S.C. 2"?

I remember watching one of my favorite movies, "The Last Starfighter" and
noticing a Hero I robot scurrying around the spaceship hangar floor.  Neat-O!

Of course my all-time fav's: R2D2 and C3P0, which were rumored to be actual
robots in several scenes, but were mostly costumes for human actors.

.... and what about all the robots in Asimov's books, from "I, Robot" on and
on...
