We use an R2 mobile robot from IS Robotics, a small mobile robot (about
25x25x25cm) with a 2 DGoF gripper that can lift 900g. The robot has
eight infrared sensors and five tactile sensors, as well as tactile,
colour and break beam sensors in the gripper, and costs 11000 US Dollar.
You can get further information from IS Robotics, 22 McGrath Highway,
Somerville MA 02143. Fax (617) 629 0126.
