I don't know if every one saw this on the mailing list.
But just in case I thought I would repeat it here.

Subject: Order Form for 6.270 (rev. 2.21) parts kit

6.270 Parts Run Update #2b 8/19/93

Dear 6.270 (rev. 2.21) hobbyists:

Here is the order form for the parts kit of the 6.270 board set, rev. 2.21.
The list of parts can be found in another post titled "Final 6.270 Parts List".
COST:

The price for each parts kit will be $110.00.
Shipping within North America is included.

The cost of the "partial" parts kit (without CPU, 32K RAM, heat sinks,
and motor driver chips) is $70.00. (This kit complements another kit
offered by Greg Kulosa in January, 1993.)

Other (non-Canada or Mexico) foreign orders should include $5.00 per parts kit.

Please Note: Any import fees, duties or taxes are the responsibility
of the purchaser.

ORDERING INFORMATION:

To order one or more parts kits, fill out the label below and
e-mail to me, beyer@erim.org. Also, print out a copy of this label and
send it, along with a check or money order of the appropriate amount to:

		Jim Beyer
		P. O. BOX 7572
		Ann Arbor, Michigan USA
		48107-7572

I will ship kits to people in the order I receive the checks.
-----

Please remember that I am offering parts only! No bare boards are included!
Hopefully, you have already arranged the purchase of the board through Rick
Wagoner. Or else you can wait for another board purchase, or have the boards
fabricated yourself.

Method of payment: I would _really_ prefer money orders for US orders.
International orders must be paid with an international money order in US
dollars. All orders must be pre-paid for the full amount plus shipping.

-----

Schedule of events:

I'll accept orders until SEPTEMBER 11th, 1993. That gives everyone three full
weeks to get the funds to me. Barring backorder problems, I should get all
parts by Sept. 27. Packing all the kits will take some time.
I will ship kits to people in the order I receive the checks. My goal is to
get the last kit shipped by October 15.

-----

What happens if I miss the order date?

Depending on the number of orders received and parts availability, I will either
accept the order, or return the check. All orders received will be
acknowledged via email.

The response has been awesome. With Rick Wagoner's board sets and these
parts kits, we are quickly establishing a user group in the hundreds.
Please do not use my home mailing address. I'd hate to lose your check in
my reams of junk mail! Use the P. O. BOX please.

6.270 Parts Run Update #3 8/20/93

Dear 6.270 (rev. 2.21) hobbyists:

A minor glitch from my previous announcement:

I said:
>The cost of the "partial" parts kit (without CPU, 32K RAM, heat sinks,
>and motor driver chips) is $70.00. (This kit complements another kit
>offered by Greg Kulosa in January, 1993.)

Greg also included the LCD display in his kit. It will NOT be included in
the partial kit I'm assembling.

Thanks,

Jim Beyer
