If you have a two-eyed robot and want to know how he sees the world, you
might want to try hooking him up to a computer with a Cyberscope. The
Cyberscope is an optical device that attaches to the front of your monitor
and allows you to see in true 3D. The Cyberscope sells for $179, and comes
with two programs and some C source code to allow the programmer/hobbyist to
make his own Cyberscope applications, such as telepresence. The Cyberscope
has an image quality that is comparable to or better than head-mounted
displays and flicker glasses, but at a much lower price. If you would like
more info, please email your name, address, and phone number to
scope@well.sf.ca.us.
