Hi Brian - Mark's robot was fascinating, eh?  I've accrued a 2" thick binder
on various robots including Mark's, but not much to say about his walker.

I _can_ tell you that his neural net is patent pending, so you won't see very
much about it for a while.  As for articles, check out, um - lessee.... 
Scientific American Sep '92 (pg 42), Vancouver Sun, Nov 1 '92, pg B6.  I've
got other articles, but they're more focussed on the Robot Olympics.  Mark
tells me that the Olympics will have a spread in the next "LIFE" magazine.
Also, he's in the process of writing a book detailing his robots.   (Wait for
it - it'll be a while, but worth it!)  He's currently on tour, so who knows 
when it'll be ready.
