Well, I have my 6.270 boards and docs and limited parts kit!
(Thanks GK!) And now come the questions.

1) The chips in the limited parts kit are supposed to include
the five motor driver chips right? Two are supposed to be the D
part and two the B part but only one is labelled that way. I think
the two D parts have the suffix but the others (I assume there the
Bs) just end in N. Is this making any sense? Which parts are
which? I know I have to piggy-back two pairs of chips but I'm
not sure which (or why?).

2) I am having some trouble finding the four-resistor resistor
networks. I have found that Digi-Key only carries fivers and up.
Where can I order resistor networks with four resistors (or, should I
use a fiver and clip a lead on the last one?)

3) I am having some trouble finding some chips (mostly the analog
stuff) in the HC family. I have found that I could get HCT but I'm
wondering if the TTL compabibiltiy will cause a problem or if it's
going to increase my power consumption by a significant amount.

Notes:

1) I have fixed the plated-through-hole problem. Thanks for the
prompt information NetFolks. I used the Exacto knife technique and it
was about a ten second fix. If you measure the pads for the adjacent
capacitor (c4?) it will measure shorted (unpopulated board) until you
get the offending copper cladding out of the hole.

2) Has anyone heard from/spoken to/exchanged email with Steve Wallace?
I am trying to get my MiniBoard parts kits from him but he doesn't
answer my email. (Steve, you out there buddy?)

Thanks all!
Cb
