The MiniBoard is definitely not 'a waste of time'. I have used mine
to build several small robots, made possible because of the ease of use
built into the MiniBoard. Having looked at the specs of other boards I have
yet to see one that offers the compact size, variable input power requirements,
array of both digital and analog input ports, and ease of programming
(no EPROM burner needed.) In addition, having a large and growing core
of users along with the authorative and responsive support of the board's
designer on the net adds significant value to the MiniBoard.

If you want to build small robots under microprocessor control, don't want to
spend a lot of money, and don't know a great deal about electronics but
can use a soldering iron - the MiniBoard is your best choice!
