 In case you don't know, the new PIC17C42 has interrupt
mechanism on chip whit a latancy of 750ns. It also has PWM
output and serial port. The price is $6 and change in 100s.
Another new chip 16C71 has 8-bit ADC. Now the only
limitation for these 5 mips RISC-like chips is their small
memory space.
