ANNOUNCEMENT:  Availability of Graduate Scholarships and Fellowships in Dayton, Ohio

The Dayton Area Graduate Studies Institute (DAGSI) is offering 15 competative Ph.D. 
fellowships and over 40 Graduate Scholarships to qualified engineering Ph.D. and M.S. students* 
for the Fall 1995 quarter or semester.  DAGSI is a consortium of the Air Force Institute of 
Technology, Wright State University, and the University of Dayton.  The 15 full-time Ph.D. 
fellowships consist of a full tuition scholarship plus a $12,000 per year stipend.  The remaining 
tuition scholarships consist of full tuition at the full or part-time student level for both Ph.D. and 
Masters students.  

The Air Force Institute of Technology Robotics and Automation Applications Group (RAAG) 
working with Wright State University and the University of Dayton has openings for graduate 
students at both the Ph.D. and M.S. level in electrical and mechanical engineering that qualify for 
these scholarships.  The RAAG has research interests in teleoperations, object based bilateral 
control, visual systems and pattern recognition, virtual master-slave interfaces, and robotic and 
teleoperator reliability with appropriate laboratory facilities.
