I just received the latest Smalltalk Report and was pleased to see the
article 'Streams -Not Just For Characters Anymore'. I agree with Bobby
on many of the points he brought up,  and found it 
difficult NOT to take his side on many of the issues sited in the
article. However, his second item in the paragraph 'Bad-Assumptions'
just doesnt jive with the way Streams are described in the Purple
Book [Smalltalk-80 The Language].
