Hi everybody !

This is my first venture into the newsgroup world and I would like to
immediately warn you !!??!! My first language is French so please do not
take offense if my grammar is wrong ...!!!

I am currently developing telecom systems using Forte under Sun Os and
Windows platforms. Having a background in Digitalk V, my heart is sold
to Smalltalk but I am wondering how hard it would be to
develop and distribute an application written in Smalltalk to different
platforms.

I am currently evaluating Visual Age but still in early stage...
(And I only have the Online Docs that come with the trial CD, not really
my favorite way to read, I still prefer books...ha ha ha)

How does ParcPlace Visual Works would rate in this kind of environment ?

If anybody from IBM or ParcPlace is reading this, please let me know...!

thanx

Carl
