I want to create a small network to support 2 to 3 users (PC). One of
the PC should be a SQL server (even better if this can be a nor-dedicated
server), others are going to run the client front-end programs that I
am going to develope by Smalltalk. I prefer to use VisualAge, but
doesn't matter if I ought to use Visual Smalltalk from Digitalk. I have
the knowledge to implement the hardware setup and make those PCs talking
in TCP/IP. However, I don't know what software components that I should
buy to make them works together. I already have VisualAge, Visual Smalltalk,
OS2 Warp, should I buy IBM DB/2 for OS2 ?

Since this is only my own expermental project spending my own saving, there
is a strong requirement to keep the cost minimal.

Any advise ?

thanks !
