I'm new to Object Oriented and would like to learn more abount it by
trying to convert some small industrial apps from Foxpro and Access into
Smalltalk. As the cost of the software is an issue I was thinking of
trying Digitalks Smalltalk for Windows V. Can anyone give me some advice
? Is this product capable of distributing stand alone apps both as
single and small network multi-user. Is it a good starting point in
learning smalltalk for someone who knows xbase and visual basic but
knows nothing of smalltalk except that the language holds the promise of
greatly reduced development time and a greater portion of reusable
code.Thanks for your help.
