                   IBM HOSTS VIRTUAL CONFERENCE EVENT!

     TaTTOO'95 On-Line uses state-of-the-art technology combining
     Interactive Multi-User Virtual Environments with the World-Wide
     Web to bring an International Conference and Trade Exhibition
     to your desktop.
     
     TaTTOO'95 On-Line is being hosted by IBM and is now open for
     pre-registration and for exhibitors to set up their stands.

                           HOW TO PARTICIPATE
   
   
Registration For TaTTOO'95 On-Line is FREE OF CHARGE!

     * Using Telnet
       Use telnet to connect to the TaTTOO'95 On-Line server.

                telnet www.europe.ibm.com 7777
           Once connected, you must `register' to receive your ID
       code (character name) and password. This will be delivered to
       you by e-mail so you must give your e-mail address correctly.
       
       
     * Using a World-Wide Web browser
       If you also have access to the World-Wide Web with a browser
       such as Mosaic or Netscape you can browse the objects in the
       virtual conference.
       
       In the virtual conference objects such as delegates, rooms,
       personal business cards and leaflets can all be browsed on
       the Web. As you move about and pick up business cards,
       brochures and flyers these will be added to your own personal
       delegate Web page.
       
       The URL of your delegate Web page will be sent to you by
       e-mail when you register.
       
     * Using special clients
       If you have access to a special MUD client like TinyFugue or
       tkMOO you may use it instead of telnet.
       
   
                              THE MAIN EVENT
                                     
   The main TaTTOO'95 On-Line event will take place in from the 4th
   - 6th January 1995 and will include...
   
Virtual Press Conference and Debate

   Invited members of the press and the computer industry will take
   part in an on-line debate and press conference dealing with
   Interoperability, CORBA and Object Skilling. Eric Leach of the
   Object Management Group will be chairing the session.
   
The World's First Virtual Trade Exhibition

   The Virtual Exhibition Hall features stands by many different
   organisations, including Object Technology specialists as well as
   Virtual Companies, Professional Organisations, and other groups
   with interests in the Internet.
