Please don't! I have reserved a similar name with the Visual
Consortium. My product is:

"VisualPowerTurboWorkbench"

I haven't figured out what it will be, but I wanted to get the name
registered. In this business, having "Visual" in your product name is
required, and having "Power" in it is also necessary.

PowerOpen, PowerPC, PowerTalk, PowerBook, PowerWeir, PowerPREP,...

Visual Basic, Visual C++, VisualWorks, VisualAge, VisualAgents,
VisualV, ...

Therefore, "VisualPower" represents the ne plus ultra of names.

Me, I have SmalltalkAgents, and think it nifty. The name is only
slightly trendy, with the "Agents," but that's OK.

What I'm amused at is the proliferation of names Quasar is coming up
with: Agents Object System, Agents Construction Kit, SmalltalkAgents
Lite, Visual Smalltalk (formerly Lite), SmalltalkAgents Workbench
Professional, etc.

QKS is doing what the whole software industry is doing: creating
abstraction levels and product packages and then finding trendy,
snazzy names for them. Then trying to get product differentiation and
name recognition.

It may work. I'm not a marketer, thank goodness.

I'll call it "Smalltalk" or "SmalltalkAgents" and just shrug when
asked if my version is "SmalltalkAgents VisualWorkbench" or "Object
PowerConstruction AgentsObjects." (:-))
